A FAMILY BUSINESS

My children have brought me to where I am today and that goes for my business too, it simply wouldnt exist without them.

I have alwayse had an interest in handcrafts but it wasnt untill my eldest was on her way that I really became interested in fashion or childrens clothing to be specific.

I was shocked by how quickly children went through clothing, childrens fashion industry was faster than I could ever have imagined. Why was it not designed to last children longer? 

I wanted to design childrens clothing that was Fun, Comfortable, Durable and longlasting and made with natural sustainable materials. It is through my children that I have developed a range of clothing designs that I believe fit this mission.

While trying to be both frugal and sustainable, I tried to make many of my childrens clothes or find beautiful items in charity shops ect. Though I still found there were some high quality items I wanted to buy from reliable brands. Specifically wool base layers and outerwear.

This is what has inspired my Sewing Seeds Preloved and Vintage Wool Shop.

I wanted to create a place where you can sell your own preloved wool items and also put that money towards purchasing new second hand wool clothing to keep you and your little'ns warm and cosy.
